Our Safaris are the only ones available in the world that are made out of the correct shape channel. Our competitors use a flat three sided channel and not the correct V shaped four sided channel. Our’s are so authentic that you can fit our lower frame to an original VW Safari upper frame and have a perfect fit and match. Every bracket is CNC Laser cut to the exact original design. The original slides which were chromed steel and always rusted, whereas ours are in mirror polished stainless steel. They will last forever. Our catches are accurate copies, as we investment cast our bases in stainless steel so the post will never break. Every nut, bolt and screw is supplied in stainless steel for good looks and longevity. Each kit comes with every part you need or alternatively you can buy separate parts to repair original items.

Not shown are our rubber seals for glass to frame and frame to body, and the toughened glass.
We have what we believe are the best seals money can buy for our frames as we recognize that this is the biggest problem for Safari owners. Whilst no one can totally guarantee against leaks, we can be sure that our seal works better than any other including N.O.S. original VW item. It is worth remembering that Safaris were originally designed and marketed for countries with little rain fall.

1950 - 54 Safari Windows The only reproduction Barn door Safaris in the world. These windows are exact reproductions of the original items that are just about impossible to find. The frames are made from H section alloy and mandrel bent to the correct shape. We laser cut the two halves of the hinge and had the largest hinge manufacturer in England roll and rivet them exactly as original. We supply you with replica spacer tubes, cross head screws and spring washers so the fitment is correct. Kit includes toughened safety glass as original, new inner and outer rubber seals, polished stainless dash clips, catches and slides, wing nuts and body brackets. A "one eyed duck" and wiper dissengagers are also included.
