| 04/27/06 | Jaques | Hi there, I am a resident of Cape Town South Africa and have just bought a '67 Deluxe splitty which I intend restoring over the next couple of years. Having come across Hector's amazing example, my fionce and I decided that we would like our bus to look exactly like his. It looks fabulous and we would really appreciate it if somebody could tell us what the green color applied to the area below the waistline is called and whether it is a standard Volkswagen color? Any pics and info you could provide to me would be helpful. How rare are these? How valuable? I currently drive a 1964 singlecab and am looking forward to seeing it tow one of these!
