| 12/24/03 | Jan B | Not many.. I think it's an Adventurewagen, but not positive. I have had a lustful longing for one of these for the longest time. I finally found a 1970 for sale, without engine, and I picked it up maybe one day ahead of impoundment by the city, who was harrassing the owner for "inoperable vehicle". I had a long block ready for it, so no problem! I just uploaded a picture of it. It's the red "high top" on the trailer. There used to be a high-top VW site on the 'net but last I looked, it wasn't there. And imagine my shock later on when I sighted another much like mine, zooming southward down Normandie Blvd in Harbor City, CA. |

I am really not sure if this unti was ever made for right hand models. I know that this will not fit a right hand drive because the underdahs component is made just for left hand drive buses. Please let me know if you have any information as to the value of the unit. I am not really looking to sell at this time, but I am curious as to how much it is worth. Thanks, Todd |
