    This is my 65 sundial camper that I bought from the original owners who lived in the same place since they bought the bus new. All wood camper interior, original tent, original paint, original dents! Sundials rule!!!!

    This poor bus was left in a garage for 15 years without the motor or tranny.. mice got the interior. it is originally from San Diego,and is a Bowman & Sons camper.. anyone ever heard of them? Its being restored now...

    I have had to sit here and look at that ford picture for alomost 4 days. I know this late model ain't much better, but at least it is VW. This here is a Auto Villa Camper conversion from South Africa (Where I was born), it is a RHD unit. And it has matching china in the camping area to eat from. It was owned by Gunner Racing.

    After 7 months of at home body work. After 7 months of at home body work.

    After 7 months of hacking, sawing off big rusty hunks, blasting, chopping off bondo 2" deep, priming, sanding, priming, sanding, priming, painting, sanding, painting, clear coat, sanding, clearcoat, here it is today. I still have to colorsand, compound and polish. All this before I can do any mechanical work, but I think it looks pretty good.

    As you can see the previous owner left me one beer for a thank you!( previous pic )Good thing! Once I pulled the rear break drum on the drivers side I needed it! NOTHING but one spring and the broken end of the parking brake cable! A little rust,but not bad for a 60.You know what it looks like under the rocker panels!More pics as the resto begins.

    I'm Sooooooo!!!!! HAPPPPPYYYYY!!!!!I can't stand it!!!!! Here's my new baby into the Bus Barn on the first day! Beautifull Ain't she! I've had the DT's since I sold my 67 Camper in the mid 80's. Now I have this beautiful 1960 " SPLIT 60 " as the antique tags will proclaim.She's going to be a daily driver I hope untill I can amasse the body parts for resto.I live in ND so I'll have all winter to put her up on jacks!

    This is my weekend project that has taken the better part of 3years. This is a groung up restoration that is nearly compleate. This bus is FOR SALE. I have many more pics and compleate details of this restoration or if your intrested in just seeing more more pictures let me know. thanks aaron
