12/20/02 Spengdog Ah, I was wondering! Even with an extremely understanding girlfriend 3 hours a day is pushing it for me!
12/20/02 Thom Anywhere from 2 to 10. I get away with it by not being married with children.
12/12/02 Spengdog Thom, how many hours a day do you average in the garage, and how do you get away with it?

03/07/03 Thom My '60 DD panel w/1600SP can easily exceed 75mph if I'm not paying attention, and I've verified the speedo with a Garmin GPS. I suggest you naysayers go round back and do a tune up, in addition to getting the *proper* tires on your bus.
03/05/03 Everett My bus has reduction boxes and a Rancho flyer and goes over 55mph, thank you very much. Nice job, Thom! You don't need no steenkin' straight axle conversion!
12/21/02   You see, buses weren't meant to be race cars. They were meant to do work, if you would rather race, might as well buy a Honda. Wait, those aren't race cars either. KEEP IT STOCK
12/20/02   woo hoo we dont have to worry about going over 55 ever again! sign me up!

If you have to cut out a chunk of the bed supports, it's probably a good sign that that kewel new air cleaner you picked up on sale at Pep Boys isn't really right for your bus.

More crap from where the rear-end was sectioned on. The top portion is the new piece; the origin is underneath. They overlap by about 1 1/2"

More crap from where the rear-end was sectioned on. This weld is sorta almost complete, but crappy. They also didn't run the taillight wires thru the frame and up the channel like they're supposed to go, but instead brought them over the shelf and across the edge of the battery tray.

12/09/02   dove blue - it's the new black!
12/09/02 Thom While it was originally dove blue, I've always been of the opinion that a certain amount of leeway is allowable on commercial models. I want to use a stock, period-correct color, just not dove blue. Then again, by the time I'm ready for paint, I may have changed my mind.
12/07/02 Mike Well if the interpretation means that the blue is Dove Blue, and that is the color it came from the factory then I vote yes. I believe your only choice of color available is the one it came.
