    Here are the fuel tap and choke cables from the 59 double cab. Both cables are stamped 'VW' on the metal part of the cable near the knob end. The choke cable is the one with out the black sheathing for about 10 inches on one end. The knob end parts polished up real well.

    The fuel tap fits through the rectangular hole and the cable if secured to the tab on the frame. I'll post a new pic when it's all together.

    Both of the heater tubes in the engine compartment of the 59 dc were messed up. To fix the one side, I found some brass tubing that just fits the OD of the original tubing. I'll fill in with a bit of epoxy, sand smooth and paint.

    68 doublecab with a 69 deluxe nose. found this basketcase 12/4/00 loaded up with garbage, mold, parts, and a badly smashed mouth. put it on the road in 5 months. appears someone may have been murdered inside; lots of stab wounds to the front passenger seat. putting together a bay doublecab and need help? email. recreational vehicle in rear.
