I finally got van-essa's resto almost completed. its only taken about 5 years with the last year totally pulled out of service and up on blocks. think she has turned out pretty nice. not the right year for the mango green--but I've always wanted a mango green bus. now-onto the interior. one of these days she'll be done.

This March '55 bus was given to me by a kind little old lady after I offered her money for it. She refused to take money for it even after I told her what it really is and how rare it is. I found it in a farm field on the Caifornia/Nevada stateline about 5 years ago approximately 50 miles from Reno, Nevada. It is rust free and is not for sale.

I got this Bus from a paddock in Griffith about 650kms from Sydney, Australia. for $500AUD. It included 2 cuts from another split, a front end and a rear end. It has no motor and I'm planning to stick in a WRX engine (EJ 20) that should be interesting!

11/27/03 Tim agani again The guy who sold this to me told me it was a 56 , but i looked up the cchassis/VIN and it is a November 1955! sweet.

This two Bus are in Antuzede, Portugal, near Coimbra, in a restoration shop run by a women. One is waiting for better times, and the other was in middle of restoration when lack of money stoped the reborn. So, they are here in Hall of Shame... Are they for rust, or for restoration? Only time will tell.

I just picked this bus up today, It came from central NSW. It is very original and hasn't been Butchered like most old splitties in Australia. Haven't decided if I will keep it, or sell it on to someone else. It is so complete, even has the original keys, wipers, lights and still in original paint, with no repairs.
