| 05/12/02 | body shop rob | Your bus sounds like my 66 Standard with rot in all the usual places. I'm doing a mild restoration by welding new metal to patch the holes but I'm not using factory floors or panels. If you are looking for NOS or OEM parts check VW wrecking yards in your area for doner busses. Its the most cost efficient way to FINISH your project. I'm using mild steel plate to repair the rot on my bus because I want to spend the money on the engine, brakes etc. If you wait around for obsolete or expensive parts you may lose interest or not even finish your project. |

| 12/18/02 | eric | i just purchased a 63a few days ago.. it has the middle seat which i'm seling.. it's was taken out and put into storage 25 years ago and it's perfect..i mean no flaws at all ..museum quality easily..if interested let me know |
