10/03/02 'The real' busper I'm the reason people think VW drivers are all burnt out rejects. Yeah me and Lloyd.
10/03/02 busper Yeah, I have looked closely....looks good to me...
10/02/02   You obviously haven't looked real closely at one of his rebuilds.
10/02/02 busper Hey I have to say that this guy has a pretty clean motor in there, I think I would trust him to rebuild mine. Usually the guys that are filthy dirty and greasy as heck are the best ones 'cause they actually get in there and do the job right instead of pussyfootin' it around taking shortcuts and trying to keep grease from under their fingernails! Hey if you were closer Lloyd I'd let you work on mine!! Take care. :)~
09/29/02   No, Chuck is vintage Bus's resident child molester. He drives around in shortened VW busses and promises the kiddies treats, and rides in the clownwagen.
09/27/02 Chuck Your totally correct, but you still love cock.
09/27/02 john Hey Chuck Wagen, let me guess, You are 17 years old, your entire wardrobe was bought at Abercrombie & Fitch, and you are too much of a Spine-less coward to even leave your email address on your ignorant messages here? I am right, aren't I?!
09/26/02 Chuck Wagen Seems like John looooooves penis.
09/26/02 john You guys are all morons! You want to bash everyone because it makes you feel better about yourself and your too-small penis! What would you idiots do, pay some mousey looking dweeb in a spotless white lab coat to rebuild your engine? Screw 'em, Lloyd, If I need an engine rebuild then you're my man! Let these other 17 year-old Abercrombie & Fitch wearing kids who order their Cherry-Bomb exhaust systems from JC Whitney catalog and tell you to put a clean shirt on pay some mechanical engineer $150 bucks an hour to change their oil and set their timing beause they are too worthless to do so themselves. Whadd'ya say kids, have you had any luck making that penis grow yet?!?!?
09/25/02 Johnny Law at large is something you say when a criminal escapes from the big house, is that the case here?
09/23/02 Dingbat Archiiiieeeeeeee. I got yous a beer.
09/22/02 Archie Bunker Ahhhhh jeeeeze deahh meathead, yous look like yous took a bath in the terlet
09/21/02 Sid Vicious I will say that if you look at all the other photos, that his motor is quite clean.
09/21/02   If you take as much pride in engine re-building as you do in the appearance of yourself and bus.............I'll take my business elsewhere.
09/21/02 Sid Vicious C'mon Lloyd. Your trying to sell yourself so take some time out to shave and shower, and a little bit of a haircut might also help to drum up some business. That thing got a shitter in it?
09/20/02   a 094 dizzy is better than a 009 though...right? i have a 094 with petronix 1600dp, wouldn't it work correctly with this combo?
09/19/02 garcias recarnation Rock on dude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and a clean shirt wouldn't hurt
09/16/02   look at the guy in the background burried up to his shoulders in the sand, i bet that dirtbag did it
09/16/02 Honest Abe Hey Son, put on a clean shirt if you're fishing for business, would ya? I sure as hell wouldn't buy anything this dirtbag is sellin.....unless it was WEED.
09/16/02 Gene whats the problem with a 009? ive been runnin them problem free for 10 years
09/16/02 wolfgang Hey Lloyd! Normally it's hard for me to see busses that are not in a good condition. but this bus is sooooo cool!!! this is not a bus, this is art :-)

greetings from germany

10/10/02 Walter Anyone ever put zip ties around there beans and weiner?
10/07/02 busper Yeah Mike, I can agree with all the hoop-la (zip-ties, fish tank hose) riggings on that motor in the picture, but you know mechanics *usually* have some pretty wierd looking motors on their own ride 'cause they have other peoples cars and motors to work on and don't have the time or the "desire" to put on correct parts because Lloyd knows what will work and gets by with it on his own ride. But when it comes to anothers car or motor I'll bet he does a nice job on it and keeps all the original correct functioning parts on it if they were present before the rebuild. Really that motor looks good, and clean, and I would trust him to do a rebuild, especially if he has the guts to post up here on vintagebus cause someone surely would say if they had good or bad dealings with him, and obviously no-one has posted a true complaint about one of his rebuilt motors that they have or own or drive. Of course I would not jump into having him rebuild my motor right away, I would have some questions beforehand or want to see a motor that he has done in the past that has some mileage on it, but either way, if the person doing the work knows what he is doing, then it is well worth having them rebuild or work on it, no matter what the cost is.
10/07/02 Mike's Boss Which one of your three "correct" carburators did you drive into work with today...or did the beers do you in again?
10/07/02 truckersmike I don't care if that engine runs like buttah, I would not want my engine look like that. He can keep the radiator hose, dryer hose, zip ties, duct tape and fish tank hose for himself and I will continue to use the correct parts.
10/07/02 busper The hose *could* head for the air filter Jules, but if you remember, some of the oil fillers/breathers have the metal tube that goes down past the oil dipstick and to the bottomside of the motor feeding the fumes to the outside/road then it does not make a difference, heck, my bus has it capped off going to the air cleaner and then the metal tube going to the outside/bottom of the bus. As long as it can breathe it does not matter where it goes simply put. (although I am sure there are some nazi's out there that will disagree)
10/05/02 Jules I used Zip ties to put my heater pipe jackets back on underbneath. not original but they do not rust to shit at least.
hate to pick?? but surely that pipe off the oil filler (Case vent fumes) should be heading for the air filter not the road???
10/05/02 Chris First you idiots bash the guy for wearing a greasy shirt which was pathedic enough and then you bash his engine based on one photo? When you work on cars you get greasy. If you own a Volkswagen and don't own at least one shirt that looks like that then you obviously don't do any work yourself. Also, a couple people have attacked this guys engine but you have only seen one photo of it and you havn't actually listed any of the errors that were made. Using zip ties is not an error.
10/03/02 buspers mom I guess if I were stuck in the middle of no where, I'd let Lloyd help get me home. But then I replace the Dryer Vent hose, radiator hose, duct tape, zip ties, multi sized washer hose.................and do it right.
I mean if he carries enough stuff to look like he knows what he's doing, then how about some good replacement parts.
10/03/02 busper I see nothing wrong with the motor, although I see a problem with you...YOUR ATTITUDE!! it sucks. Go home and play in your room, your are grounded.
10/03/02 busper HUH?? everything looks good to me in there.....except someone got zip-tie crazy.....
