66 double door panel. i moved to the mid-west in 95. it's hard to find a bus in good shape out here.

Here's some pics of my 62 Oz panel, which caught on fire 2 days after a 6 month major resto :( If you're interested in the story I'll send it. She was restored back to original including 1200 and 6v. The color is Beryl green.

12/27/02   yea, i know what a barndoor is, my old man would smack me in the head and yell"pull up your barndoor before your horse gets out"
12/26/02   do you even know what a barndoor is? look at the engine lid it's regular sized not barndoor.

12/23/02   there is no 57 barndoor the last year of the barndoor model was 55

12/21/02 Andrew Mac Creery That is the same color as the bus that my mom used to own except for the fact that hers was a 1957 double barn door panel bus.

This is for all you custom bus junkys. It is my friends 60 panel. It is the lowest bus I have ever seen. It can actually drive like that.

1958 double door undergoing 100% restoration 1600 dp everything else stock right down to the ribbed bumpers very nice dove blue omni paint all new rubber,brakes,engine&parts,new quarter panels, completely sand blasted and refinished it is awesome watch it's progress at http://briefcase.yahoo.com/john4599

Here is a picture of my splitty panel, it used to be the same grey with white bumpers and a white VW badge but i got fed up with it and decided on a change an d a friend of mine that works in the local vw crash repair centre had the yellow paint so in a weekend it was in sprayed and out again in fact i was out crusein g agian on the sunday.
