Anybody know what manufacturer made this type of camper? It isn't Westfalia that is all I know.

04/20/03 Cale McCann Nice VW Camper. Your specific model was converted by ASI Riviera. I think that ASI Rivieras are better then the Westfalia's by far. They hold up really good and you have more room in them. The Red 1969 and a 1/2 Rivi is mine and the Yellow 1969 Rivi sold on ebay for $8600.00 dollars. That tells you that Riviera's are highly collectable.

Just a hodgepodge of pics taken in the last couple of days in the process to try and have my girl up and running for Phoenix,Az Bug-O-Rama. will love to talk to people about my bus instead of talking about my husbands bus (which is way cool too - have to save my ass a lil bit). But what I hear is that next best to a biker chick is a VW chick.

Here are some shot of my newest Bus. The Bus is a 1971 Deluxe with sunroof. It has a 1641 dualport, 1976 front and rear end, IRS lowering kit, luggage rack, billet fenders front/back (back is currently off as I am doing engine work), headlight covers, window louvers, porche 912 rims with 205x55x15, tiny steering wheel, and some after market low profile sport mirrors. Oh, not to mention it came with its own Transformer's Decipticon insignia made out of diamond cut plate steel that will replace the org. VW sign on the front of the Bus. But I hope that once finished my Bus will get as much if not maybe more attention then my husband's Hotwheels Bus. Let's Hope ;-)

Just bought this bus from a friend for $800.00, I'm in love with it already. Needs some TLC (as all VW's do) Has a brand new long block 1300cc. I will be restoring most of it, and chroming out the rest. Can't wait for camping season!

03/20/03 Doug Christen Well I entered it into the registry, and it came up as a Kombi with SO-33 Westfalia interior package! What a score!
Although most of the camper components were stripped out.
Anyone know where I can get more info about the interior packages? I have looked through your site Thom, (great site by the way) and didn't find much about it. (maybe I need to look deeper)

Thom, A flip hatch westfallia? Everything I have read and seen has pointed to it being a Kombi. (except the flip hatch part) I will enter it into the registry, will it give me all the details? (I am a long time type 1 owner) plus many watercooled rabbits and GTI's. This is my first Bus. Thanks a mil!
