| 11/03/02 | On my old bay the Bi metal choke spring had snapped keeping the choke open but it was usually not a prob till the engine had started warming up and it needed to close. took longer than 5 Secs. | |

| 11/03/02 | Spengdog | Every time I start up, the motor revs hard, holds the revs for about 5 seconds then dies. I stripped and cleaned the carb and fuelpump, everything looks fine, f#@ked if I know what to check next! Any ideas? |
