This is me and my fathers newest purchase,a 1962 double cab. A bit of rust but complete with new body parts and other spare parts from the previous owner. Found and bought in the dark woods of norway. Does anybody know how rare the early double cabs are ? Or how many there where built?

Here are the pics of me building the prototype for the Westy tent. This is heavy-weight Sunbrella canvas. Once I have the tent pole dimensions and manufacturing specs I will be offering them to the general VW population. Price is still up in the air.

Managed to make a bulkhead panel NOT a replica Used corrugated MDF to form curves will make two side panels to match later just need some nice edging trim for top edge. Had a piece of scrap period formica for top

This is my new baby,is a westfalia campingwagen of 1978.originally was from France,and come to Spain in 1991,it was the toy of an old mecanic,three years after,the mechanic dye and the furgo was bougth by a person and it had it for 12 years,and now is mine.Is a 2L engine with automatic transmision and is broken,in spain is strange this bus automatic and now i'm looking for a new automatic transmision... if someone can help me ... thanks so much and sorry about my english!!

I built this bus back in 1970. I have stored it all these years. I want to restore it back to it's former glory. I was 20 years old when I mounted the Bug onto the top. 36 years later I finally have the time and recources to do it.

The roof is done now. I started with a green coat, followed with the final color. Then I sanded everything down so it looks like a very old paint. I orginaly didn't want to paint this bus so all of the parts showed their OG paint ( and rust), bud my wife said NO!!! I then suggested a two tone paint job. She said that was OK for her...Well, it has two colors, hasn't it?
