    Just want to share this pic with u all. Have this 60 bus now 2 years and i hope to have it running in six months now. Have to fit lowererd spindels and adjusters so i can slam the bus to the deck. (yes i know it was a panel bud in the late 60's it went back to volkswagen and they welded the windows in in a verry nice way shame they didn,t close the louvres)

    Dear vintage bus, I have a question I hope you can help explain for me. I just bought a (guessing) late 50's Bus that I found in my local salvage yard here in Detroit Lakes, MN. I don't now the exact year yet and was trying to use the Bus FAQ "What does my chassis number mean?" I feel like a real moron not being able to figure this out but my numbers don't seem to relate to the ones shown. What do I have? Number in engine compartment R.S. below gas tank: 343329 Number behind pass.side front seat: 317122 Engine Number: 2301115 36hp Thank You, Dean Corcoran

    That's myself with my son, the day I bought my van a few months ago. I drove it from Madrid, about 6 hours. I already took off that extra lights, restore that spare wheel and do some other stuff, so the van looks way better now. I drive it everyday and it goes pretty good. They are not very common here in Spain.
