This is a "Walmart Puerto Rico" shopper I receive yesterday in the newspaper. I know it will be difficult to see but there is a Vintage VW Bus in the pictures, somewhere behind the models. After a couple of minutes you will find it. Its always good to see they are using these buses for ad campaigns.

I am french, I live in Germany, Munich, and I work for the European Avionics Defense and Space company, more exactly, now, for Eurocopter. I worked from 1995 to 1998 to the xerox research center in France. Oh yes, I am from 1967.. :-) I have still old comodore there.. By the way, to create syntheziser. But, it is another story. I allow me to contact you ast I just bought a bus, on Ebay. Well, I had the opportunity befor, to see it. It was not really cheap, but here, it is crazy to find low price. Anf, it is one of the cheapest.. 3300 Euro.

Here is a 1967 Logo van I bought in Den Haag in June 1972 on a 3 month camping trip around Europe. Genco A/C contractor work van was like new with 6ok km on speedo. Some rust from Holland winters I paid $600 us for it and drove it with my bride to be all over Europe and Morroco. Shipped it back to SoCal. for $300. abd drove it for another 8 years till finished Grad school when I bought a 914 2.0, Sold the van for $1500. People used to pull me over with stories of seing this van all over the country and Europe. What they no doubt saw were other Genco logo work vans. A lot of people thought it was a logo for gay men which was a good laugh.. I did see one other Genco logo van with same paint scheme but it was a Baywindow van. Also years after selling it to a surfer dude I was driving through Palms Springs and loking down a side road saw the distinctive painted van crossing a street about a block away. I chased it down to find an old Dutch house painter who bought it as a work van and was just about to paint it all one color! Go figure what were the odds of catching it at that moment!

I built this bus back in 1970. I have stored it all these years. I want to restore it back to it's former glory. I was 20 years old when I mounted the Bug onto the top. 36 years later I finally have the time and recources to do it.
