This is a rare speed bump high centerer for slammed buses. Effectively high centers your bus while traversing speed bumps or steeply pitched driveways. Requires very solid jack points.

This '66 took its share of 1st place trophies back in the early 70s. From Camarillo, CA, this Type 2 racked up big miles running up and down Big Sur. Even had a twin turbo motor at one time - Hell on reduction boxes! Recently used inThirdAge.com TV commercial and starred in Firestone Tire training film.

I HAVE WHAT I HAVE BEEN TOLD IS A 1956 PLUMBERS BUS OR TRUCK. I AM NOT SURE WHAT IT IS CALLED, BUT I T HAS A HALF CAB AND FOLD DOWN SIDES, WITH CARGO COMPARTMENTS UNDERNEATH, FLAT BED THAT GOES UP TO TH E FRONT OF THE TRUCK ON THE RIGHT SIDE. MY GRANDFATHER PURCHASED IT SOMETIME AROUND 1960 TO 1965 I B ELIEVE. I HAVE HAD A LOT OF PEOPLE INTERESTED IN PURCHASING IT FROM ME BUT HAVE NO IDEA OF WHAT IT M IGHT BE WORTH. I BELIEVE THE BODY TO BE IN GOOD CONDITION, NO BIG DENTS OR DINGS. IT IS THE ORIGINAL COLOR I THINK (PALE GREENISH BLUE) THAT IS OF COURSE OXIDIZED. THE ONLY THING THAT I KNOW FOR SURE THAT IS MISSING IS THE VW EMBLEM THAT IS ON THE VERY FRONT OF THE TRUCK.(SOME ROTTEN KID RAN OFF WITH IT.) TO MY KNOWLEDGE THE MOTOR IS MOST LIKELY THE ORIGINAL ONE AND NOT MUCH IF ANY THING WAS EVER CHANGED FR OM THE WAY IT WAS FIRST PURCHASED. YOUR HELP AND HONEST INPUT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. IF YOU C OULD PLEASE RESPOND I WOULD THANKFUL, I COULD NOT FIND ANY PICTURES ON YOU WEBSITE THAT LOOKED LIKE W HAT I HAVE HERE. THANKS FOR YOU TIME
