10/26/02 Spengdog 300 would get me the blank! Be sure to post the finished articles!
10/25/02 Thom The blanks were $105 each, retail. By the time you ad in all the fixins, the total materials cost at retail is $300 per board
10/25/02 Spengdog Thom, great shot! how much are you guys paying for blanks that length these days? Are they Clark? They are mucho expensive here in Europe - Almost as much as what I can get an off the shelf board for!
10/24/02 Thom Yes; check out http://thomn8r.com/surfboard.html
10/24/02 Sean Are you gonna shape them yourself? In hear it's not as easy as you would think it was unless you are planning on using them on the Sac river!

Ex-Australian Airforce Mobile Air Traffic Control Tower Based on a 1967 double door panel van. Converted in 1970-1971 by the RAAF. Used to deploy Mirage jet fighters and F-111 to battle on excersise and then control them on their return. Originaly had a trailer with an airconditioner and generator on it. The air was pumped through the duct at the back and exited through punker leouvres on the inside. It was manned by two controllers. I Recently restored it in Darwin,Northern Territory,Australia.

06/20/03 Jennifer Do you have any interior photos? I'm also an aviation enthusiast and I'm quite intrigued by this.

This is my new 1964 Standard. I found it in New Brunswick Canada. It is very rusty but is about 95% complete. The largest problem areas are the large roof dent, the rockers, cargo floor, rear corners, and the shot gun blast to the rear quarter. I am planning an eventual restoration.

10/24/02 Jules I'd check that the dude with the shotgun still does not bear it a grudge. before sinking lifesavings into it!!??
10/24/02 Mark Alright Chris, another bus saved! Looks like you have a good start, looking forward to the "progress" pic's along the way- make sure to post them! Mark.
10/24/02 Chris Boyne GT55- I would agree with you if I lived in the United States or in Central Canada but in the Eastern Maritime Provinces of Canada, Split Windows are basically non existant- so finding a East Coast bus even in this condition is rare.
10/24/02 gf55 I'd strip all the parts from this bus and put them on a cleaner 64 that needs them! Good luck!
